The major headache of hiring a small 3 ½ ton self-drive van and doing the whole job yourself is that hire vans are just not big enough to accommodate a whole house move, resulting in lots of journeys, backwards and forwards.

| If you cannot get the keys until two, may be three o’clock, you can only get one load off and you still have two or three van loads back at the old house. This will hold up the new people moving in (possibly having legal implications) and you still have to load the rest of it, the final unload not being till late in the day.
Or you can hire a 7 ½ ton lorry that you have to pay large cash deposits, which you loose if the vehicle is marked, and you are afraid of driving.
You can however choose our option of driver and lorry only.
For only £95 + vat you can hire a driver and a 7 ½ ton specialist removal lorry that is correct for the job, for the day (8am to 6pm) and a 20 mile radius. |
